Install modified Google Play to prevent GP Services updates.
When the Titanium Backup no longer solves the situation.
A warning! ROOT is required to perform the following manipulations!
(Sorry for my imperfect English )
1. Download and install the latest version of the application: Lucky Patcher.
2. Download the GP mod with the disabled updating of itself and the services: GooglePlayStore_8.3.43.U-all. While nothing is done with it.
3. Download Google Play services v12.2.21. From the numbers list you should choose the option that will correspond to: a) the version of Android installed (5.0+, 6.0+, 8.0+), b) processor architecture (arm, arm64, x86, x64), c) screen resolution (pixel density in dpi). If we do not remember the resolution, we take the universal one (it is marked as nodpi). All these devices can be obtained using a utility such as AIDA64.
4. Disable the device Internet (this is so during our manipulations again do not pick up GPS update infection)))). We go to the device Application manager and delete (Turn off, turn off, accept) the upgrade of GP Services to the pre-installed system. The GPS version will go down. If the downgrade fails, run LuckyPatcher, click on the GPS application and delete it. Then we update the services to version 12.2.21 using the normal staffing method from the downloaded in step 3 apk.
5. We do the same with the Play Store. Here, as a rule, removal is not required and the rollback is quiet. In some devices, after the downgrade, the market remains turned off. It must be turn on.
6. Run the LuckyPatcher. We go into the "Tools", select "Android Patches", select the first two patches, patch. These patches make it possible to install the GP mod as a native application.
7. Install the modified Google MarketPlayStore 8.3.43 downloaded in p.2 by the traditional way.
8. Connect the Internet. Drinking beer. LuckyPatcher can be removed. Just in case, turn off auto-update applications in the GP settings.
9. Now you can install Android Auto 2.9.5749 (Strongly I do not recommend 3.0.5705 and 3.1.5810! Never AAM will not work with them !!!) and AAMirror, Car Stream ... applications by usual normal way (not via adb) and use. Do not forget: run AndroidAuto and configure Developer Mode with third-party applications on. If everything has already been installed before, it is necessary to reinstall it, but it is necessary to set up the AA, because the downgrade procedure removes all of its previous settings.
. This manual is written on installations for two devices SGS7 with Android 7.0 and Xiaomi Redme 4Pro with the latest MIUI (Android 6.0.1). Perhaps there will be variations on other devices and other wasps. But the algorithm should not differ.
P.P.S. If you use a modified GP on both devices, you update, search for and install all applications (that is, everything as usual). GPS and GP will never be updated
