Leon mk3 problems with retrofit rear pdc / ops

Hi!

First have to say, I´m sorry to write in English because I don´t understand or speak Spanish...
Hope you dont´t mind!

So my issue is that I bought rear PDC/OPS parking retrofit kit from cars-equipment.com

Now I have installed the kit and everything else is should be ok, but can´t get any kind of signal to head unit screen?!?
So those beeping sounds work fine, but those optical "lines" doesn´t show up.
I have made coding according marlop´s guide for installation... so park/steer assist has added in can-gateway installation list and 10-park/steer assist has coding 0000050001 at the moment... so I have Leon without camera, without acc and manual gearbox. I also activated those three options in 5F-Infotainment> Adaptation.

So everthing seems to be ok, but still that ops doesn´t work...
I have full auto-scan from vcds if someone wants to see that and also adaptation list from 5f module...
That autoscan shows no error in any module.

Control module which came with that kit is 5Q0919283F.... so I think it is newer version than in marlop´s guide... could that be a problem? And that module was a new one, but I got it coded I think
In 10-Park/steer assist module in vcds in long coding helper has two options for BAP... version 3.3 and version 4.0.... Only coding for v. 4.0 works... if I try to change coding for BAP v. 3.3 it says "request out of range" and can´t be coded.... could that be a problem?? If that control module is too new and it needs BAP v. 4.0 but my car is older and needs v. 3.3..... Those are my thoughts only because this seems to be very weird...

For the unit with software / hardware 5QA919283F with only the rear detectors the coding must be 0600050001

With that coding it says also "Coding rejected, Error 31 Request out of range"

I use vcds, not OBDeleven, so is there that cache problem?

Hi. I understand your Leon is a pre-facelift and that your module 5Q0919283F has been coded with the parameters from VW, SEAT or Skoda. In addition, your screen is 5,8" or higher. If all that is true, it's a bit weird the issue you are having.

Yes, car is pre facelift model.
Control module is not parametrized at Seat dealer Is that the problem? I thought I don´t have to parametrize it because it works on my car after that coding in 10 Park/Streering assist.
And car has only that 5" colour screen... but according to Stemei, OPS will shown even on that monochrome screen...

So you say that I have to go to the dealer who parametrize that module or I have to buy used module.... If I go that used module route, what is the best version of the module?

It's very important to get your module parameterized, otherwise it won't work. If you get a second hand unit from VW, SEAT or SKODA, it will be fine.

In relation to the screen size, here users have not succeeded with a 5" screen. Ask Stemei for more info.

Ok, so I have to go to the local dealer to get module parameterized?
I have to ask could they do it... I don´t have very good experience about our local dealer in those codings and other "different" works other than normal car service....
If I decide to buy used module, could it be from any car? I mean does it have to be from Leon.... or are the audi or skoda or vw ones working also....?

Oh, so those ops problems is maybe caused from that 5" screen.... damned!!

I have to find out can local dealer make that parameterizing and how much is costs....
It could be easier and cheaper to buy used module instead...

Now I noticed that "everyone" else who has only those rear sensors, module in 10 Park / Steer assist, it shows "Component: Parkhilfe 4K"... and so on, but mine is "PARKHILFE 3K H10 0054" ?!?!
I know that only rear sensors should be 4K and front / rear 8K
Why there seems 3K for my car??

Little update for this problem...

I got help from a friend in Finnish VAG-forum who checked those codings and adaptation channels for 10 Park / Steer assist module and 5F Infotainment module...
There is one wrong value in 5F adaptation channel.... After I changed that... OPS is now fully working and showing in 5" screen also!!
So I can confirm also, OPS is compatible with 5" screen.

I´m prettty sure that I installed 4 sensors in rear bumper , but it says that Parkhilfe 3K...
There is still something wrong I guess...
Do you have any idea what might cause that?
Is one sensor broken...? Or some wrong codings...

Your PDC unit probably has the parameters of a Skoda Fabia which has 3 sensors in the rear. It should be coded with the parameters of a 4-sensor vehicle (Leon Mk3, Golf 7...)

That pdc unit is new and came with whole pdc/ops kit for Leon 5f...
Sounds weird to me... I understand if that module had been used from Fabia or Ibiza...

So can I code it with vcds myself or do I have to go the local Seat dealer who codes / parameterize it?

If it's coded for 3 sensors, it needs to be recorded at dealer.
